TheInternationalConferenceonFluidMechanics(ICFM)isthepremierforumforthepresentationoftechnologicaladvancesandresearchresultsinthefieldsoftheoretical,experimental,andcomputationalFluidMechanics.ItprovidesaforumforresearcherstoexchangeoriginalideasandrecentadvancesintheirrespectiveresearchonFluidMechanicsorrelevantinterdisciplinarysubjects.Theconferenceisalsointendedtopromoteinteractivediscussionanddialogueamongscientistsandengineersoncommonlyinterestedproblemsinthefield.ItwasorganizedbytheChineseSocietyofTheoreticalandAppliedMechanicsandsuccessfulheldinBeijing(1987,1993,1998),Dalian(2004)andShanghai(2007).
